I am a high school student from California with a strong passion for finance, quantitative analysis, and leadership. Through several years of hands-on experience in investing, tutoring, and entrepreneurship, I have enjoyed applying analytical thinking to solve real-world problems and create impact within my community. I am deeply committed to expanding financial literacy, serving others, and using education as a powerful tool to help individuals reach their full potential.
My Story
My interest in finance began with a natural curiosity for numbers and problem-solving, but it grew into a deeper passion as I realized the impact financial knowledge can have on individuals and communities. In high school, I pursued rigorous academics through AP and dual enrollment courses while founding and leading the Spartan Equity Partners Club, where I taught peers about investing strategies, market trends, and portfolio management. Even when the club lost its official status, I continued meetings to ensure members could keep learning—an experience that strengthened my resilience and leadership.
Beyond the classroom, I sought real-world exposure through internships and programs such as Perennial Partners and the Wharton Youth Essentials in Finance program, where I developed valuation models, collaborated on investment presentations, and refined my communication skills. I also explored entrepreneurship by running a Pokémon card resale business, generating over $5,000 in revenue while building customer relationships and managing accounting and marketing independently.
Equally important to me is giving back. Through volunteering with the Wisdom Culture and Education Organization and tutoring underprivileged students in abacus math, I discovered the fulfillment of teaching and mentoring. These experiences taught me patience, empathy, and the power of education to create opportunity.
